Mitchell : South Dakota

Mitchell is a city in Davison County, in the Mitchell metro area covering a total area of 28.2 km² (10.9 mi²) of which 25.6 km² (9.9 mi²) of it is land and 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²) of it (9.29%) is water. The community was named for, railroad President, Alexander Mitchell.
